The Swedish DIY band Zitter, with their unique constellation of Fred Z (vocals/bass), BG (guitar) and MacCalico Adee (software drummer), play vultureistic beak n' roll machine music. It is hardrock blended with punk; groovy riffs combined with machine precision. Grinding guitars and punchy bass lines melt together with steady drum patterns. And, as the icing of the cake, atmospheric and leading synths. At the core of every Zitter song are vocal and instrumental melodies. This is indeed true for their latest release Cool to be Kind (November 30th, 2024).
Live, Zitter turns the stage into a crazy arena of spontaneous-chaotic choreography. All under the supervision of their vulture family. Zitter strives to be entertainers and refuses to leave anyone untouched. This, Zitter has proved in clubs in their hometown Stockholm as well as in other cities in Sweden and Denmark. The band did 20 shows in 2023 and 21 shows in 2024. Since 2024, Zitter is part of Swede Agency.
Zitter releases their music digitally on their own independent label Vulture Nest Productions; distributed to all major digital music distribution platform by The Orchard (AWAL Digital Limited). This far, the band has released 12 albums, 4 EP's and 5 singles. All of them written, recorded, mixed and produced by Zitter. Since 2019, Jon Rinneby, Sound of wool, master Zitters' releases.
